Art of Cakes Bakery

Art of Cakes created our wedding cake! It was the most amazing cake I have ever tasted and the most gorgeous cake I have ever seen! They are truly artists! We froze the top layer of our cake and ate it at our one year anniversary... it tasted as good as the day we got married! I order all our family’s special occasion cakes from Art of cakes bakery now!! You guys are THE best there is!

Today I chose Art of Cakes as my first wedding cake tasting experience. I was so excited. The cake was good but I was saddened by the experience I was given and how we were treated by the bakers at our consultation. There was a blonde shorter haired lady which wasn’t too bad. Partly through the meeting she seemed to have a lighter attitude but the brown haired woman was very somber through the entire consultation. I left feeling like I was a bother and my first cake tasting experience was a bust. The lady would not smile or make us feel welcome at all. We had planned on picking out the cake and putting the down payment today. We planned on getting cookies and cupcakes after the consultation as well. However, I knew after the first 5 minutes I could not go with Art of Cakes because of the way it went. It felt like we were inconveniencing this lady. I thought it’d be nice and they would be excited to help us pick out what we wanted. When we got the ladies behind the counter were very nice but the bakers that met with us did not greet us with a smile. I am not sure why they treated us the way they did. I guess we will continue looking for a bakery. The cake was good but we were treated like we did not matter. It was very disappointing but I’m sure the other employees may be different.
