We walked in and experienced a 20 minute wait before our existence was even acknowledged. There was a line of people about 15 people long before they even offered to start seating people after being seated it was another 10 minutes before anyone came to get our drink order.
I stopped looking at my watch at this time. While we could have just gone somewhere else, there were no more Japanese food options in Lenoir City anymore, and we had committed half an hour at this point.
While we waited for our drinks we went ahead and ordered our food. We did not sit on the hibachi side because we had a toddler, so I cannot review that side of the restaurant.
Drinks were well-mixed and they make a good Long Island Iced Tea. The food prices were high and we all split plates as a result. The shrimp were good, not overcooked which sometimes happens at these places.
I would give them 3-4 stars but the wait was absolutely unreasonable and the fact that no one acknowledged a growing line out the door for more than 20 minutes was absolutely unacceptable. I also do not recall a single person apologizing to us for these things.
