Would have rated this place higher if their food quality matched their price AND if customer service was better. I understand that prices need to be higher because it's a small/local business. However, I don't want to pay almost $20 for one good(but not great) meal and crappy service. Honestly, if the service was great, I would not be leaving this low/bad review. When I went Into the restaurant there was only one family eating there at the time so it wasn't a busy time. The server was socializing with those people at the table and there were one or two more people standing around doing nothing. I had assumed they were waiting for their order or something. After waiting there a VERY long minute or two the server awkwardly glanced up from her conversation with the customers and that's when I let her know I was there to pick up an order. She did not say one word at me. She just glanced back at the man that was there doing nothing. He came over and asked who the order was for and went to the back of the restaurant to get it.
WHAT!?!?! All that time I was waiting to be helped and there was an employee right in front of me doing NOTHING!?? That was it for me. There is no reason why that should have ever happened. No greetings when coming in the door, no offer to help?? That's horrible. A friendly "hello, how can I help you?" Or "hello, we'll be right with you." Can go a very long way.
Again, I think I should clear up, the food was not the issue. The disgusting customer service was the issue.
