I have a problem that even specialist haven't been able to uncover the cause. The sypmptoms are clear and being treated but the underlying cause hasn't been found. Because it could be life threatening my wife pushed me again to try to find a doctor who could find or point to a specialist who could find the underlying problem.
I'm old enough for Medicare, but I'm still on private insurance. The office head questioned me and said "Aren't you lucky." Then appeared not to believe me and asked where I lived. She had to see my private insurance card. She was all hot on how someone my age could be on private insurance.
Fine. But what she did not inquire or show any interest in what was my medical problem. Her total focus was on I somehow was trying to hoodoo them. Again, not one whit of concern or asking of why I wanted treatment. Since I know she's worked there for a long time I presume Dr. Moran is the same. I would guess this office can do a good job handling ordinary medical problems. But anything out of the normal is over thier heads.
I should add the doctors and specialist I've seen have been caring and understanding and taken the time to point out to me that they just don't know. They see and treat the symptoms but can't define the underlying problem. It's not they aren't good doctors, its my problem is rare.
