My sister is battling breast cancer for the third time. She has been seen by Dr. Tauer since 2009, went through remission, and the cancer came back which spread to the thoracic area and this time, the third time, it is in the colon. Every time we turn around my sister is being taken off of chemo, waits a month, back on chemo, and instead of trying a different chemo, since the one she is on is not working, they do not try something else, they put her back on the same chemo that she was taking, before bring taken off of It, while the aggressive cancer is growing! We were at Tayers clinic one day, toward the beginning if the second round of cancer, his nurse practitioner tells us, everything is okay, we have just a couple of spots to worry about, no big deal..... my sister and I left Dr. Towers Clinic, on Cloud 9, thinking that we had this licked!! Come to find out it's in several different areas, that we did not know about! My sister went to doctor Tauer yesterday, Monday, to have Cross matching done. My sister was told Friday, to come Monday for cross matching and Tuesday, she would get two to three units of blood ......when she arrived, the paperwork requesting the cross matching to be done, had not even been sent to their lab , so nothing was done! I am sorry, but this is my sister's life... All it is to them is a damn job and I am sick of it!
Quit trying things, if it's not going to work, and just be honest with her. If there is something that is going to work, then by God use it and let my sister start healing and get better!!! Quit playing around with people's lives!
