The sign on the door displays the closing time of this Subway location as 9:00pm. That's a fairly reasonable closing time for businesses / fast food restaurants in Chattanooga. Yet when it is 7:50pm, and the doors are locked, one starts to wonder what exactly is going on. Like any reasonable would be patron, I knocked on the door (after seeing activity from the employees inside). An employee came to the counter, shook her head, and held up 8 fingers for an 8:00pm closing time. IT WAS 7:50pm! If you are going to close down your restaurant earlier than the sign on your door suggests, at least have the courtesy of staying open until the time you are really supposed to close! This is unacceptable, especially when it is still daylight and you are hungry. I will be calling the General Manager of this location to report this as I am sure he/she will be interested.
