Southgate Childrens Academy

I have worked at Southgate for about 4 years now, during my school breaks in the summer and winter. There is a reason why I keep returning to the same work place when I am home from college. SCA is such a welcoming environment not only for the kids but also for the staff who work there. The director, Laura, is very warm and responsive to the staff's needs and especially the parents'. The class ratios are small which is great because it gives me a chance as a teacher to form a special bond with all the students and to get to know the parents. SCA cares a lot about the kids who walk through the doors each day. I love how warm and fun the school is because it provides a positive learning environment and it makes me look forward to returning from my college break.
