The Sound Shelter

I'm sure there are lots of studios in Nashville with high quality equipment, good engineers and great sound. The Sound Shelter certainly has all of those things. But what's special to me about it, and the reason I flew in from Austin to record there, is the people. I came in with some fairly complicated arrangements and very specific ideas about how I wanted my recordings to sound, and the guys worked with me until I got exactly what I wanted to hear and then some. The end result was an EP that sounds incredible, expresses exactly what I had envisioned, and reminds me of a great week I spent in Nashville.
