NEVER AGAIN !!!!! I asked Mr. Charles Sandy for an estimate on how much he would charge to clear a piece of property for me (about 2 acres). He came over and we spent quite a bit of time walking through and around the property. He said it would only take him about 4 or 5 hours at the most. At $125 per hr., that meant it would cost me a maximum of $625. A month later (after I had saved up the money), I gave him permission to start. Because he never contacted me, I assumed everything was going just as he said. He came by the Sunday after he had finished with a bill of $1,390 !!!
