I was there in July of 2016 spent 4 nights there. Could not ask for a place that is off the beaten path. Only a few other campers.
Plenty of room. Between the camp sites.
The restrooms were clean.
I can understand the well not working. People keep breaking it.
Water was not a problem just bring some with you. Get the camp site next to the creek.
Its a short drive to North Carolina. To hit the ATtrail. It was my first time there. If they keep it open i will go back.
Did see 2 small black bears No mama in site.
