Peet's Coffee

I've been living of the West Coast for 30 years and Peets is it a class by itself. In 1988, I moved from the East Coast and worked as a new college grad engineer for a computer chip company in San Jose, and the president was really big on Peet's Coffee - we had cases of their beans sitting next to coffee grinders. Never tasted coffee like that before. Several years later, one of my good friends lived in Berkeley and we would walk to the nearby Peet's of the weekend. I did not know at the time that that was the original Peet's Coffee. The company has expanded in recent years. That said, this is the only location in this region of the country. You are very lucky if you are in Chattanooga and get to have Peet's Coffee!
