Payless ShoeSource

Tried to exchange shoes for a different size and they said I would have to pay the difference because the shoes I bought were purchased with a coupon. I wasn't trying to get a different kind of shoe, just the same shoes in a different size. Also I noticed a sign for a Free gift and 20% off and I followed the steps on the sign to get it. The cashier said the promotion hadn't started yet. The 2nd cashier mentioned that the sign was put out last week and that the gift was a pair of socks. I asked if I could get my pair, and the 1st cashier said I would have to buy something first but that was not on the sign, not even in the small print. She seemed annoyed with me and just wanted me out of the store. I got my pair and free gift from a different pay-less with no problem.
