We regretted spending money on this. You need to wait for the tram, it's slow, there is nothing to see, and there isn't anything to do at the bottom. We ate lunch at a restaurant and then headed back up because that was basically it. Instead go and take the tram up Pike's Peak or something where you get an amazing view. I would skip this and Ruby Falls but do Rock City which is amazing.
