Mike is a CROOK! Do NOT hire this man! I moved into a home with an above ground pool (I know nothing about pools) and hired him to do a closing. He drained the pool as he said it would make the cleaning easier. (Which I'm now told this is a no-no unless absolutely necessary as it can damage the liner) Then had ME help him drape the cover over it, took bricks and rocks from my yard to keep the cover from blowing off the deck area, (again recruiting my help) stuck the hose in and told me to leave it running over night and keep checking it and that the cover around the other edges shouldn't fall in. I wrote him out an out of town check that same day BEFORE any work was completed and he said his bank won't take out of town checks. So he pressured me to get him "cash" so that he would at least have some gas money until the job was done. I don't usually keep large amounts of cash at my house, so he followed me to dollar general where I got $40 cash back from my credit card and gave it to him. Needless to say, the pool cover fell in multiple times while filling up, and I had to go out and fix it. Over night it slid in also and I couldn't get it out. I called him and he said he would be back the next day, and this is what he says EVERY time you call him, always one more day. Each of his visits was about a week apart from each other. Needless to say this time he said he would come back and and never did after about 20 calls. Mike is HIGHLY unprofessional, a complete LIAR and STOLE my money. Now my expensive pool cover is ruined and I have a hefty water bill, and I have to hire someone else to do the job!
