Germantown Commissary

5 big stars for the food! Our beef brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwiches were super. It was the best we found in Memphis. The side of beans were very good. We even tried the bread pudding and found it great! We eat light and found the smaller portions perfect for us. Yes, the service was quick and friendly. I don't know if we were just lucky, but we simply parked right across the street from the store. The long drive from the freeway was worth it. I cannot give 5 stars overall because the old store is crowded. But the food itself was 5 stars!

I mean this as the highest compliment - this place is a dive. Local fabulous fun. Amazing food. Great service. Incredible desserts. A must must go to if you are in the area.
