I went down to Pigeon Forge for a week-long vacation this past summer with my family. On Sunday, we decided to attend a church, and after searching for churches in the area, settled on Freedom Baptist. The church is in a beautiful building in a residential area off the main strip. When we attended, it was wonderful. The people were so welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. The music repertoire included old hymns and Southern gospel, and the choir performed spectacularly. A small instrumental ensemble accompanies the worship music, and Bro. Parton is a blessing when he preaches. In all, Freedom Baptist is a MUST for anyone visiting Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg on a Sunday.
