First Federal Bank

I'm not really a fan of any banks but I really have to give this place credit (ha ha). It's been a terrific place to bank. My wife and I looked EVERYWHERE for a bank that would write us a land loan with decent terms and nobody would. We both have excellent credit and had 20% cash to put down on the property we wanted but absolutely no one would write us a loan without at least 35% cash down or else charging a ridiculous APR (looking at you, Bank of Dickson & Farm Credit) - until we came to First Federal. This bank was just wonderful to work with. We got a mortgage in-house and everyone we worked with was friendly, competent and very professional. We got great terms and the bank really worked with us. As a result, we ended up moving all of our other bank accounts from other institutions to First Federal. I've never given a bank an online review before but this place is really worth checking out. If you need a mortgage, ask for Mr. Mark Felker; he and his staff are the best.
