I went in today with my husband because he needed his DOT physical done and I figured that I would get my next phentermine script (due in 4 days) since we would be there anyway, and my youngest was having surgery between now and then and the last thing on my mind was going to be my prescription. I was treated like I was abusing the medication, and told I couldn't have it because it was too early. I explained that my son was having surgery at the time it would be due and I wanted it so I could have it on file at the pharmacy. I was still refused. I could understand such treatment if I was someone who asked for it early on a regular basis. I could understand if she (Paige) had checked my weight and seen I hadn't lost any. Neither of these things is true. This would literally be the SECOND time I have ever gotten a prescription for it. If she was truly worried about an early fill of a controlled substance she could have written it out for me and simply put "Do not fill until 2/24". I know this because I'm a CPhT. I don't abuse medicine. I see the horrific results of those choices EVERY DAY. This is literally one of four medications I take which includes birth control and medication for migraines and the accompanying nausea. I don't *have* to spend my money here. I came here because it's conveniently close to my home and didn't have to worry about trying to fit in and schedule an appointment. I could walk in whenever I could find some free time. I'll spend my hard earned dollars where someone can extend me a little courtesy and respect.
Pros: they got me in quickly.
