Mexican restaurant with a Mexican buffet. This restaurant does have a menu but for this review we ordered the buffet.
Pros
The price was very reasonable.
The service was fantastic.
The seating was acceptable.
Guacamole, queso, chicken burrito, and quesadillas on the buffet was good.
Cons
The buffet had a lot of specialty items. Some of the items were very questionable such as cooked fish heads.
The buffet also contain whole shrimp. We're not talking about regular shrimp tails this was the entire shrimp with the head. Some of the shrimp was very tough others was very mushy.
Some of the food was not hot. The buffet had fried mushrooms that were ice cold. This could be very dangerous with seafood such as shrimp.
The food was not labeled and some items you did not know what it was.
Just to some it all up the restaurant was okay but not enough to make me come back. This could be because they just opened. My recommendation would be to cut back on the specialty items and go with the basics. Like enchiladas, chile rellenos, tacos. I do recommend they add heat lamps above the buffet to keep the food warm. Now we did not order from the menu so we have no review for that.
