I had a very bad experience and learned a valuable lesson by going to Walmart Vision Center Dyersburg, TN. Earlier this year I had an eye exam and was told that I had a very slight presence of Cataracts but there was no need for concern for several more years. After receiving my eye prescription I selected my frames and paid in advance approximately $400.00. Upon receipt of the new glasses my bifocal was much to low and I had absolutely no improvement in my far vision. I returned the glasses to the Vision Center and they agreed that the bifocal line was too low. I requested a second exam from the OD who indicated that my far vision was as good as it was ever going to be. After receiving a second pair of glasses the Bifocal line was acceptable but I had no improvement in far sight and could not pass an eye exam to obtain a health card. I went to another OD who indicted that I didn't need glasses but immediate Cataract Surgery. After Surgery on both eyes I now have 20/20 vision. Please give careful thought before going to the ODs at Walmart in Dyersburg, TN. My experience was an expensive lesson in incompetence.

My experience wasn't to good here. It was my first time being there and will probably be my last.since I came to Dyersburg I have went to Dr. Robinson so I thought I would continue. Wrong choice, the exam in my opinion was to fast. I thought I'd try Wal mart out for my glasses, no help there. I did find a pair that I liked and choice them. A young lady took me to get measurements.ok. Waited on them to come in and when they did I went in to try them on. I couldn't read all of her card, it would blur. She said my eyes would have to adjust to the new ones. I wore them out of the store but quickly changed back to my old ones. I could see some better. I could not see true colors through the new ones. They were just awful but going to get used to them. My lines were totally off. Well today I called them and wanted to know how long I was suppose to give them a chance. I had them 5 months, I paid $500-$600.00 cash for them. You see I'm on Medicare and they don't pay for glasses. So my husband and I have to save up when we get these because they are expensive. He's on limited income also. Wal Mart said since 5 months had past I would have to go through the whole thing again. Eye exam, glasses, have them made, try them on and live with them. I just don't think so Wal Mart. I'll find another optometrist and a whole lot better place to have them made. Thank you, Dina Harris 2-1-17 P.S. The good part, Dr. Robinson and his staff in there were nice!
