My first encounter with Dr. Cain Swope she seemed very nice as a gyn patient. When I became pregnant I started noticing that she seemed rushed and unfocused. She would sit with her back facing me while writing her notes and would not engage or look at me during the appointment. I continued giving her a second chance since I was in the middle of a pregnancy and having some minor complications. I can't even express the lack of professionalism in this office that continued. My husband left our last appointment with her in complete shock at her ludicrous behavior. It was to the point that I felt like she may not be completely mentally stable enough to handle patients. We later found out that the entire office split apart and that Dr. Cain Swope is no longer practicing as an obstetrician. What a blessing to the women of Nashville! To take a precious experience like a pregnancy and put it in her hands was a huge mistake and I was lucky enough to get out from under her care very quickly.
