Employees at the branch that I consider my "home" branch are always friendly. They greet me by name. They are efficient with my transactions. They make every effort to assist with any issues I might have. I cannot say enough nice things about them. I will say that when I attempted to get a home loan through Capital's mortgage lending department, the experience was not pleasant and I did not feel like a valued customer. I've stayed with this bank for more than 20 years through all its owners. I've had three mortgages/equity loans in the past that were always paid promptly via auto-pay. I've paid them off early. It was disappointing to consider myself a loyal customer and be treated poorly by the mortgage lending department. But, again, my local branch is wonderful!
